Treatment Philosophy

I strive to treat my patients as if they were family. I incorporate a multidisciplinary approach to my patients and individualize treatment based on each clinical situation. In treating prostate issues causing urinary problems, there are nuanced treatment options that are utilized in order to produce the best possible clinical outcome.

Since I am a general urologist with a focus on benign prostatic hyperplasia, my patient base is varied with numerous urologic diseases including kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, men’s health, low testosterone, as well as endoscopic management of bladder cancer as well as kidney stones. I have the ability to involve multiple sub-specialists in the care of my patients which enhances their care and improves their clinical outcomes.

The increasing technology for treatment of benign urologic diseases is exploding and here at Fox Chase, I utilize those technologies to augment the treatment for my patients for better outcomes. I am actively involved in research in multiple therapeutic procedures for benign prostatic hyperplasia. At Fox Chase, all of these modalities are offered and utilized in an individualized manner to help alleviate voiding issues caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia. Different treatment modalities include Robotic surgery, Aquablation, Rezum, Urolift, Greenlight laser prostatectomy as well as transurethral resection of the prostate. I am trained in robotic surgery as well as laparoscopic surgery and open surgery.

My hope is to work with you to help improve your symptoms and thus your everyday life.
